Wow! The love and logic website is great for teachers, parents, and students.
ReplyDeleteThe disturbing shift underway in early childhood classrooms article was very disturbing to me.
ReplyDeleteValerie Strauss says "A disturbing shift is underway in early childhood classrooms around the country. Many classrooms, especially those that depend on public funds, look more and more like classrooms for older children where standards, testing, and accountability rule(2013)." If this is the path that we are taking I am scared for our children because we will begin to lose them and make them scared in the EC classroom and these children will hate school.

I love the love and logic website. My child was able to attend love and logic elementary school. It was wonderful. I also have spent a great amount of time on the Voices for children site, it is wonderful.
